Find out the solution of how to reasonably utilize the interactive whiteboard for the English teaching in the elementary schools in order to ignite students' interest, motivate students' active participation, develop their lingual and thinking level is the new subject being put in front of us. It needs our profound exploration and research.
This articles firstly analyzes the current situation of the research based on interactive whiteboard and the utilization of the interactive whiteboard in the elementary schools. It combines the fundamental ideals of the elementary English teaching conveyed in "The Standard of English Curriculum", based on the mental developing process of boosting the students' interest, activeness, imagination, activity participation. Also, the analysis utilizes the historical archive citation, observation, cases analysis, surveys, and comparison research. With the four-weeks-period research of those experiments, this articles then provides the analysis of the utilization of the interactive whiteboard and the internal relationship among the students in terms of class participation, via the self-evaluation of the students' behavior and statistics taken from the observation form based on the teaching videos, and concludes the strategy of the application of the interactive in the elementary schools in order to increase the class participation and the class teaching efficiency.
