楼主说的是对的。气体与空气的相对大小,液体与水的相对大小,通常都是看相对分子量。气体:一般情况相对分子量大于空气平均分子量(29)密度比空气大,如二氧化碳相对分子量44>29,因此密度大于空气的。液体:如果是无机物与气体类似,硫酸相对分子量98大于水相对分子量18,因此任何质量分数的硫酸密度都大于水。氨水,氨气的相对分子量为17<18,因此任何浓度的氨水密度都小于水。有机物比较复杂,烃类密度都小于谁的密度,如石油泄漏浮在水面。烃的衍生物密度不好说要分类,有兴趣楼主自己查询。
