一种是碱-集料反应,主要是混凝土中水泥水化所析出的KOH和Na0H与集料(砂子,石子等也叫骨料)中活性的二氧化硅相互作用,形成了碱的硅酸盐凝胶,致使混凝土开裂,即产生所谓的碱—集料反应。

通常认为,只有在水泥中的总碱量较高,而同时集料中又有活性Si02的情况下,才会发生上述有害反应。由于碱—集料反应而发生破坏的时间随反应类型、集料活性大小、碱含量、使用环境等的不同而明显地变化,一般快则一两年,慢则几十年。一般情况下,碱—集料反应造成的开裂破坏随时间变化而加剧,维修困难,费用十分昂贵,因此已引起世界各国的高度重视。

碱—集料反应发生的前提条件是水泥中碱的含量较高,而同时集料中含有特定的活性成分,只有当这两种不相容的物质配合在一起时才会发生问题。高碱水泥与惰性集料一起或活性集料与碱含量很低的水泥一起都不会发生反应。因而抑制碱—集料反应发生的有效措施是降低水泥中的碱含量,选用惰性集料。
另外,混凝土中过高的氯离子含量也会使钢筋被腐蚀。类似于盐酸的作用吧。
