二氧化氯:就是氯的氧化物,红黄色有强烈刺激性臭味气体,有类似氯气和硝酸的特殊刺激臭味。沸点11℃。相对蒸气密度2.3g/L。遇热水则分解成次氯酸、氯气、氧气,受光也易分解,其溶液于冷暗处相对稳定。属强氧化剂,仅次于臭氧的强氧化性消毒剂!其有效氯是氯的2.6倍。与很多物质都能发生剧烈反应。氧化腐蚀性很强。极易溶于水而不与水反应,几乎不发生水解(水溶液中的亚氯酸和氯酸只占溶质的2%);在水中的溶解度是氯的5-8倍。溶于碱溶液而生成亚氯酸盐和氯酸盐。
余氯是指水经过加氯消毒,接触一定时间后,水中所余留的有效氯。即水中本来存在和余留的游离性氯和结合性氯的总称!
