多晶体金属经冷变形后,用光学显微镜观察抛光和浸蚀后的试样,会发现原来等轴的晶粒沿着最大主变形的方向被拉长或被压扁。变形量越大,拉长越显著。当变形量很大时,各个晶粒已不能很清楚地辨别开来,呈现纤维状,故称纤维组织。
在晶粒组织变化方面:冷变形后,晶粒形状变化趋势与金属宏观变形一致,热变形后,粗大的树枝晶,经过塑性变形及再结晶变化成等轴细晶粒组织。
冷变形时金属组织产生变形织构,热变形时,随着变形程度的增大,钢锭内部的树枝晶逐渐沿着主变形方向伸长,进而形成纤维组织。
热变形形成的纤维组织,使金属的力学性能呈现各向异性,塑性增强,冷变形产生的变形织构分为丝织构和板织构,丝织构使材料使材料具有很好的拉拔性能,板织构使材料具有良好的压缩性能。
