一天，一个老人在卖一只大象。一个年轻男子走到大象面前然后开始慢慢的端详它。那个老人站起来对年轻男子的耳朵说：“在我卖掉大象之前什么都别跟它说；之后我会给你点肉。”“好的”那个年轻男子说。等那个老人卖掉大象之后，他给了那个年轻男子一些肉并说到：“你怎么能看到那个大象的坏的耳朵呢？”“我没看到那个坏的耳朵啊？”那个年轻男子说。“那你为什么慢慢的看大象呢？”老男人问到。那个年轻男子回答说：“因为我以前从来没见过大象，我想知道它长什么样子”。

"All right." says the yong man.

After the old man sells the elephant, he gives the young man some meat and says, " How can you see the bad ears of the elephant?"
