hope to do ； expect sb to do
expect=to think or believe something will happen, or someone willarrive:
eg.I expect he'd have left anyway.
hope= to want something to happen or to be true, and usually have a goodreason to think that it might.
We use hope when we do not know whether something will happen or not but we want it to happen
eg.She's hoping that she won't be away too long.
