If I am a boss, usually I will pick the competent people to be my emplyees. Their ages do not make a big difference. Say, I am a schoolmaster. I will pick the ones who can teach, no matter if they are young or old.
However, for certain positions, ages do make differences. If I am a boss of a sports team, I will have to have age limit, because a team with old people cannot compete. You cannot find an old man to win the race with Liu Xiang.
So, it depends on what kind of jobs we offer. Usually, I will pick the competent people except for a few special jobs.
