I like listening to pop music very much ,everyday on my way to the office or back home,I’d like to put on my earphone to enjoy the music as much as I can.It has become my habit. When I was a little child,my father liked to buy some tapes for me as the presents for Children’ Day or other festival. Listening to the music in my old recorder was a big interest for me at that time. And as far as I could remember, and I spent most of my spare time in listening to music when I stayed at home. Very fortunately,I had open-minded parents who never interfered in what I’d like to do in my spare time.Instead, they gave me enough support which in some way encourage my interest in listening to pop music.
Great to read your nice article. Honestly speaking, I also love pop music though I`m a mid-aged guy. In late 1970s I was intoxicated with Teresa Teng`s pop songs. I cried when I heard the sad news in 1995 that Miss Teng died of severe asthma... Interestingly, I enjoyed BBC` award-winning musical programme - Charlie Gillette on my shortwave radio in both this morning and afternoon. The enchanting music plus the good reception made my listening more pleasant! This weekly programme`s presented by a well-known BBC musician called Charlie Gillitte. We email each other from time to time. You can tune in to Charlie Gillette at 1030-1100 on 15280kHz or 15360kHz and at 1530-1600 on 21660kHz or 17760kHz on Wednesdays. Happy listening!
