Hamlet also has both kindness and evil within his heart. On one hand, he has a bright side, which includes the piety to his parents, the honesty to his friends, the loyalty to his love. For his dear father, he obeys the commands with enthusiasm. Hamlet costs everything even his life to revenge for his father. On the other hand, he also has a dark side. He decides to revenge, by hook or by crook. He sends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to death; he turns to be ruthless after killing Polonius accidentally; even with Ophelia, the one he once loved, Hamlet still keeps indifferent. He tramples Ophelia’s love, regardless of her innocence through the whole event.
